Well obviously… They can’t even protect the one they’re actively trying to protect.
Policing is by consent, just because there are guards does not mean they have the capability to deal with a community that doesn’t cooperate.
What do they protect?
Coolock’s opposition needs to be crushed and the IPA center set up as a matter of national security. We don’t have a state if terrorists decide they can violently stop whatever they want and we can’t do anything about it.
No one should be allowing them to reframe the conversation this way. “Sure it’s impossible to guard everything”. Of course it is. But what is being done to find the ringleaders who are stoking the flames, literally and figuratively? And what is the government’s plan to solve this for the long term?
Well if that’s the case, then since the Coolock site is filled with asbestos, the asylum center needs to be abandoned before the place is burned down (since it can’t be protected), spreading a massive cloud of asbestos-filled dust on nearby housing estates when it collapses (as previous fires in that industrial estate have done, minus asbestos).
In fact, the guards _should_ have a duty to 24/7 protect that site, due to the immediate risk to the public that represents – and should remain stationed at that site until all asbestos is removed.
How about starting with the ones with the big protests outside. It’s a dead giveaway….
“We can’t be policing the city” – Chief Wigam
Maybe deport the ones that should not be here and there would be less sites to protect.
They indeed can’t. They need fo arrest the people doing this and keep them under lock.
Today are the refugees, tomorrow the immigrants, the day after the lefties.
Have we considered a change of tactics to get the gardai to do their jobs? Perhaps install ATMs in each of these sites, or start spreading rumours that protesters are openly carrying small quantities of cannabis for personal use.
Let’s be honest they can barely protect the streets and cities we live in let alone a few tents
We’ve tried nothing and we’re all out for ideas.
Simple way to deal with this.
Take off the kid gloves.
Go in with snatch squads.
Grab the agitators.
Bring them to court that day.
Give hefty sentences.
Send out a message that further violence won’t be tolerated.
Maybe arrest the 20 lads at the core of every protest??
Goes to show how many fecking sites they are planning for.
