  1. Dude weekend isn’t even over, and posting this already? Jesus, stop looking for karma attention

  2. They underestimated on purpose but this is crazy. Rated R and kids buying tickets to other movies to sneak in and it still made this much. I’m taking my step son next weekend. Looks good too

  3. Saw it yesterday night and jesus christ it’s amazing!

  4. So it obliterated the previous number 8 spot? Is that what this means?

  5. probably the weakest story but the funniest movie with the best action of the 3

  6. This is proof that people aren’t sick of superhero movies or multiverses, they want good movies. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie I wish marvel would get the picture.

  7. No surprise here. Two incredibly popular characters brought to life again by two friends who legitimately love doing this. It shows through pout the movie. The plot is pretty weak, but you don’t care because it’s just pure entertainment from start to finish.

  8. They should be as much as they spent on marketing and advertising. It seems they were in every big show or related content. Even Bravo shows.

  9. They obliterated the 4th wall, then took a piss on it.

  10. Do we ever think we’ll get to a time when we’ll just be able to pay box office prices to watch a movie at home?

I have zero interest in going into a movie theater to watch this but I really want to see it I would pay $25 to rent it once

  11. I want to point out that most of those flops for Disney were under Bob Paycheck’s tenure. The dude might have been a good numbers guy but had zero entertainment instinct.

  12. It’s an incredibly fun movie. Legitimately hilarious, great action scenes, awesome chemistry between two very popular characters.

  13. I’ll be seeing it 3 times oddly enough. Heading back home so I’ll be seeing it with friends first, then I’ll travel to see my brother and he wants to see it. Then when I get back home, I’ll watch it with my wife.

I don’t think I’ve ever gone to the theater 3 times to watch the same movie, but it can’t be helped in this case.

  14. Not surprised with all the hype of Wolverine coming back for this. I jumped at the chance to see it too. It’s total shit. But it’s making money and just reinforcing to Marvel and Disney to just keep reviving characters with the multiverse for fan service.

  15. Quite enjoyable, I have to say. Pretty refreshing to involuntarily burst out laughing- along with the rest of the audience

  16. It was amazing… I am a wife and i actually work in HR… i was dying at that lol
