Oh cry me a river.
It is a Flemish medal. It is also a Belgian medal and a Schepdaalse medaille. It’s also Remco’s medal.
Of course, a nationalist politician will call it Flemish. I guess the major of Schepdaal will be very proud and will call it “their” medal as well. Walloons can call it Belgian if they want.
I won’t bat an eye when they call Nafi’s medal a Walloon, a Brussels, a Liege or any other name. Not everything has to be a communotary conflict.
