  1. We need to talk more about mitigation, we are far beyond preventation.

Here in the PNW, people are starting to wonder why they named it *Glacier Peak*.  Some rock became visible a few years ago on Rainier that I had never seen before, now it’s bare every year by mid summer.  There are a lot of empty basins here that held glaciers until so recently that plants still haven’t moved in. 

    It was in the news last year that it *rained* on the highest point in Greenland. 

    We’re losing our ice all over the planet, with devastating outcomes.
