  1. No surprise Braverman dropped out. Her stint on LBC this week didn’t go very well

  2. Suella is the living embodiment of pulling up the ladder after yourself.

  3. Braverman off to Reform then, maybe I’m a Celeb to help pay the bills?

  4. Suella basically confirmed she is defecting to Reform then… do as much damage as possible on the way out by recruiting.
I’d imagine the thick as pig shit fuckwits like Gullis will go with her.

Fuck the lot of them.. I hope they all torch their careers and we never have to hear about them again

  5. Badenoch is already accusing rivals of dirty tactics and we know how thin skinned she is from her spats in parliament…

This leadership contest is going to keep the summer recess popcorn vendors in profit 😀

  6. With all the talk about Kamala Harris potentially being the first woman of colour to take the presidency, quite fascinating how it’s the Conservatives that could deliver UK’s first woman of colour as Prime Minister.

  7. I don’t envy the Tory members having to choose between the shower that have put their names forward.

  8. Badenoch is incredibly unlikable. She has two interview modes..”arrogant” and “patronising”

  9. Like Badenoch wasn’t lining this up for at least a year already. I think she’s got a good chance of taking it but if she does, it won’t last until the next election, she’s too hardline unless she can moderate herself and the rest of the party to try and be less loony.

  10. Braverman didn’t rule herself out, the party ruled her out.

  11. Fucking hell the one person in the Tory party somehow worse than Braverman. Why would they totally drop their support for her but not Kemi when she’s been recorded on tape saying gay marriage is bad and makes up insane conspiracy theories about LGBT people on a daily basis.

  12. ‘Rules herself out’

Which means she tried and realised she dosnt have the backing

  13. All of those running atm are just making a decade of labour rule almost certain.

Fact is the tories need all the reform types to leave like Labour ousted most momentum people.

The tories then need to build from the bottom regain trust. You do that by appearing competent. By appearing like you’ve leant the lessons and have listened. Veering right isn’t the answer. Some right wing, some centrist but also recognising that some typically left things may be the answer. Build trust with business. Removal of the likes of Boris.

Labour had a purge. The tories need one too.

Badenochs love of culture war stuff makes me think she’s not the answer.

Enjoy 10-15 years of labour rule everyone.

  14. Well at least they’re not having another shitshow while they’re in power this time.
