1. That … would be an escalation.

   Well this whole debacle started with the Ottomans withdrawing in 1917. Would be funny as hell if it comes full circle with their re-invasion.

5. If Erdogan want to pick a fight with Israel, Israel can and will fight back tooth and nail if it has to.

   Israel has already gone through war to survive against multiple Arab countries that invaded in the past and won.

28. Could he? It’s pretty hard to invade a country you don’t share a border with, and I doubt the Turkish army is tooled for this job. How many landers do they have? Can their air force even get local superiority? If they try, they’ll probably get an involuntary conversion to a submarine force
