  1. Try Debbie Doolittle on Facebook or dooletter wildlife rescue – both have given me advice in the past.

  2. Doesn’t look good unfortunately but yeah, like someone else said, we don’t have a clue.

  3. Not a lot to go on but generally with small birds such as that all you can really do is make it comfortable and wait. I tend to put them in a guinea pig carrier with some newspaper/hay. It’ll likely die of shock soon as their hearts are very delicate but it might get better if it’s not had it too rough.

  4. That’s a chick fallen from its nest, the tail feathers aren’t fully developed yet. Don’t know the species, maybe some twitchers on here can verify that? I would say put it back where you found it but it looks injured and will likely die anyway if you do. You could ring the RSPB or someone like that but not sure if they’ll help.

  5. Might be a goldcrest?

Sadly as someone said, their wee hearts ain’t strong. Just keep it safe until it recovers or dies.

  6. Mate got a vet to take a creature like that in, they told him to drop it in they had “a small bird man” who collected things such as this twice weekly and made them better.

Like the receptionist took one look at my mate and his shoebox and just knew he wasn’t ready for the truth.

He believed them until he got to work that Monday 🥹

Edit: he was approx 40yrs old
