  1. But I was informed on Reddit that Kamala’s hype is just manufactured. /s

  2. >An ABC News/Ipsos survey of 1,200 adults released on Sunday showed that Harris’ favorability rating stands at 43 percent, 8 points up from the 35 percent favorability rating she recorded in a previous poll conducted before President Joe Biden ended his 2024 campaign.

    >The number of people who hold an unfavorable view of the vice president has also fallen from 46 percent recorded in the previous poll published last week, to 42 percent in Sunday’s survey.

    >In comparison, Trump’s favorability rating has fallen 4 points between the two surveys from 40 percent to 36. The previous poll was conducted in the week after Trump was confirmed as the GOP’s 2024 nominee at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, and the assassination attempt against the former president in Pennsylvania.

    — the article itself

    Kamala’s favourability stands at a whopping 43% to Trump’s 36%.

  3. Remember people, the only way to achieve this is to get people out to vote. If you’re voting yourself already, make sure someone else in your circle is as well.

  4. It finally feels like there’s some true normalcy in politics again with Kamala.

  5. >Harris has also seen a major rise in the number of independent voters who hold a favorable view of her, up from 28 percent last week to 42 percent in the latest poll.
    >The poll showed that Trump’s favorability rating among the potentially key independent demographic dropped from 35 percent last week to 27 percent in Sunday’s survey.

The ABC article also had numbers on J.D. ‘Couch Fucker’ Bowman:

    >The Ohio senator’s favorability rating is 24%, similar to his 23% rating in last week’s poll. But the proportion viewing him unfavorably has increased from 31% last week to 39% now, according to the poll.

  6. Due to COVID there was much of a campaign in 2020. Rallies were constrained, traditional town halls non-existent, and most events felt muted.

Thus far this election cycle there has been very little campaigning. Neither party held a primary that contained any stakes. Trump didn’t participate in any of the Republican debates and most of his victory address came via social media. Likewise for Biden.

Harris is doing more of a traditional job campaigning. She is out there trying to make herself likeable. Not merely insulting and attacking the other side.

  7. Not every Republican is a creepy weirdo, but every creepy weirdo is a republican.

  8. Her favorability rating amongst people who are me is much higher.

  9. Hopefully we continue to see this build – one of the benefits of a shorter campaign. We’ve still got the VP pick and the convention to go. Then it will maybe be a debate.
Media is focused for once on the Democrats instead of Trump, and Harris is bringing energy and strength – Trump’s power is attention seeking. It’s failing.

  10. Nothing Republicans fear more than a strong intelligent woman!!

  11. Keep flinging the insults, OldDon. That will work eventually.

  12. I am always so afraid that polls like these will lead to voter complacency. I really hope that everyone realizes how much every single vote is going to matter in this election!

  13. Let’s all show our approval this November. Get out and vote. It does not matter if your state is red, purple. or blue you need to get out and vote in all elections. Remember down ballot matters, The more support we give Harris the more she can get good things done for the people. Local, state and congressional races all matter. Be sure and plan to vote. Check your registration, get an ID , learn where your poling station is, learn who is running in down ballot races. From the school board to the White House every election matters. The more support we give the democrats from all levels of government the more they can get good things done. Vote every year. We vote out republicans and primary out uncooperative democrats.

  14. We need to make sure we all go vote, but i’m starting to feel a lot more optimistic. 😊👍

  15. Don’t get the attitude it’s cinched and you don’t have to vote….VOTE!

  16. Every time donald trump speaks he reminds voters why we dumped him in 2020.

  17. I like Kamala because her message is what WE CAN do and Trump’s is him saying what WE CANT do.

  18. Victory isn’t enough. We need to beat them like a rented mule and get a resounding point across. Vote!

  19. New laws since 2020 requiring unexpired photo IDs to vote across eight states

  20. Friendly reminder that Hillary was highly favored to win in many polls.

  21. Anyone who doesn’t want to see the GOP win the next election:

You’re gonna need to get out and actually vote in November. It doesn’t matter how many times you upvote something on Reddit. Or post a good meme.

“Spreading awareness” means nothing in politics.

    In November…vote.
