Jake Broe: What Russia is Hoping For

Jake Broe is well known, to those who follow Ukraine’s war against Russian aggression, for his dynamic, interesting, and accurate analysis of what is transpiring in Russia’s war against Ukraine. Through his battlefield map updates and articulate explanations, the war commentator has developed a strong following that regularly checks in to see what he thinks will happen next.

Broe, in this exclusive interview with Kyiv Post, explains what internal pressures Russia is now facing that could well lead the world’s largest country to a brutal defeat.

Broe gives his candid analysis about what outcome the Kremlin is hoping to see, following this November’s presidential election in the United States, and expresses why he is a strong supporter of Vice President Kamala Harris, despite the arguments that some Ukraine supporters, who back Trump, make to argue that the former President would do a better job of helping Ukraine to win.

Formerly, Broe was a Nuclear and Missile Operations Officer in the United States Air Force for six years where he was in charge of the operations, maintenance, and security of the Minute Man III intercontinental ballistic missile system.

Currently, Broe is a commentator on the war in support of Ukraine and operates a YouTube channel with 477,000 subscribers.

  1. I don't think Jake's take on military salaries will be perceived well in Ukraine… Thank god he didn't mentioned freedom of movement for men.

  2. Pompeo is full of it. Trump only cares for himself and has repeatedly said Putin can do whatever he wants. Biden supports Ukraine but we need for the Democrats to take the House. Jake is right.

  3. Putin offering those huge recruitment bonuses is a HUGE joke because Putin has already announced, on general tv viewing, there's no spare monies. We already see the suffering of Russian civilians not being supplied general yet waste water for sanitary means 😮! There simply isn't the cash mountain available, and Putin's relying on numbers being recruited, and thrn ignore whether those recruits are injured, KIA or MIA 🎉. AND he doesn't even want the Russian bodies being returned 🙄.
It's time Russia would-be recruiters really think before gifting their bodies for ONE man's greed going after another sovereignty of Ukraine which isn't Russia's to grab.
Glory to Ukraine 🇺🇦. Glory to Ukraine's defenders 🇺🇦

  4. All believers in Jesus should pray to our Father in heaven, in Jesus' name, that Putin could find a way to leave Ukraine alone without fearing being overthrown and killed by his fellow Russians. Since Jake Broe most likely knows many Ukrainians who know Russians, we need to pray that God's Spirit blesses Jake Broe with understanding and gives him the right words to help the Ukrainians and the Russians they know of find a path toward peace. We need to pray that God's angels can be sent and that the Spirit of God can open the understanding of Russians and Ukrainians so that they can truly comprehend that our lives on this earth are too short. It makes little sense for Russians and Ukrainians to kill each other for a piece of land that they will have to leave anyway on the day they die. We must pray that they understand that Satan is the instigator of wars and that by keeping Jesus' teachings in their hearts, Russians and Ukrainians, as well as their neighboring nations, can enjoy absolute peace. Jesus' teachings can be found in Matthew 5:43-47, Matthew 6:9-13, Matthew 7:12, Matthew 18:15-16, Matthew 19:18-19, Matthew 20:25-27, Matthew 22:21, Matthew 22:36-40, and John 13:34-35.

  5. will this not create anger and resentment to those fighting without that high sign up bonus and salary. One can only hope it creates chaos.

  6. I been through Russia. Mascot and St Petersburg are much closer to developed country living standards than rural areas. The more cosmopolitan Russians would need high incentives to join the military, as their lifestyle is adequate for most needs. The rural folk have a subsistence life (which they have accommodated). Religion and iconology seem to be compensation for a tough rural existence. City dwellers appear more able to see through Putin, but the question remains would wealthier Russians in Moscow and St Petersburg turn on Putin. I think not. In 1917, it was more the military that initially turned against Alexandria (Nicholas was on campaign).

  7. But Russia is selling its oil to China and India. If it keeps doing that what are the chances that Putin run out of money?

  8. They won't pay it that's why ! Especially when the cannon fodder is dead ! ….. Why do Yanks say Moss – k ow? . "Ow" as in when someone feels pain and the same as the ow in COW !
