Putin’s troop losses set to reach one million in 2025 | Prof. Michael Clarke

“As losses get towards the million mark, which they will on present trends, by the end of the year, that has to have some effect.”

Putin is “running out of time” to make gains over summer as Russian losses continue to rise in their grinding push in Ukraine, Defence Analyst Prof. Michael Clarke tells Kate Gerbeau on Frontline.

Remember On the 29.8.23 on Sky news, professor Clarke reports that Ukraine has broken through two of the toughest defence lines and should breakthrough to Tokmak in a few days !   6. I wonder how much of the UK would Michael Clarke agree to be "negotiated' away with a foreign adversary? The Falklands, Gibraltar, Manchester??? The idea of negotiating with Putin is absurd. And, as an American, I would never support my president encouraging a negotiated settlement in Ukraine. You fight to the death for your nation. I'm sure Clarke would do this for his country. Then why expect less from Ukraine?

  13. Russian casualties are for all practical purposes irrelevant to the MOD. Attrition of armored vehicles, tanks, logistical support, aircraft, artillery, and especially the remaining sovereign wealth reserves are much more critical to Russia's war effort.

There are nothing even close to one million casualties or deaths on the Russian side. Perhaps he is confused and is talking about Ukraine's losses, of which the last reliable count was 500,000 a year ago. This man LIES.
