Putin vows ‘mirror measures’ if US deploys missiles in Germany | VOANews
Russian President Vladimir Putin says his country may deploy new “strike weapons” in response to a U.S. plan to place missiles in Germany. Both the U.S. and Russia recently signaled a readiness to deploy intermediate-range weapons, long banned by a Cold War-era treaty. Arash Arabasadi has more.

Russia is a flea in the corner!
Recently I listened to Robert F Kennedy Jr.'s speeches about his uncle President John Kennedy's religious and philosophical ideas about enemies. Thos is July 2024. Did you know he and Khruschev had a red phone line to each others home? To be clear I'm not voting for him. But he restated what most Americans have forgotten what Pres. Kennedy's values were. He thought that instead of viewing the world as evil vs. righteous, we should extend an ATTITUDE of we can extend a hand of an olive branch. I agree that that philosophy is lost in this world. What if we, Americans, thought of Russia as reachable, as humans wanting better lives, just like us? Really something to ponder.
Russia should think, remember when the Soviet union fell apart. Why didn’t the evil west invade and take over? We don’t care about Russia, just stop being idiots and work with the rest of the world to create a better world to live in.
