So I heard a snippet of a Fred Again track he's been playing out live that sampled some poetry in a thick Derry accent. Sourced it to a lovely track 'I'm Alive' by SOAK – complete with Tayto cheese and onion reference. Had never heard of them. Lots will be tracking them down if they're on Fred Again's upcoming album.

  2. We’d the big weekend in Derry in 2013 and SOAK was just beginning to get a wee bit more traction, they were like 16 at the time? Played the introducing stage and on the breakfast show with Grimmy. Sea Creatures was the single then.

  3. I listen from time to time, I met their Aunt when I used to do door to door charity work, she introduced me to their music & gave me an LP of their first album. Sadly I don’t know where it is now.
