Climate migration is an urgent reality that cannot be ignored

1. I really fear what all these folks so against the idea of immigrants are going to do about climate migrants. This is the same group that denies climate change is even a thing, or else denies it is human-caused.. I am of the mind that Earth is for everyone, and I hope my country’s government will work towards making sure we have the infrastructure to handle the inevitable migrations so there are enough jobs, resources, and homes available to those who will arrive rather than trying to dust them under the rug, pretend there isn’t a huge issue that needs tackling, and treat them like criminals for fleeing uninhabitable parts of the globe.

   I really do fear the next decade of life on this planet, because if the governments fall short, as they usually do, things are going to become extremely high stress and potentially very dangerous what with food shortages, high rates of homelessness and joblessness, and climbing temperatures.. Ugh. Best of luck to us all.

2. This is exactly what I have been thinking recently. We have to prepare and work globally to prevent chaos and loss of life. Nations must coordinate their response.

3. Reality huh? Well [Insert Politician Here] said reality isn’t real so I don’t need to deal with it! /s (But also sadly a much more likely response than anything actually helpful.)
