Disrupting a community in mourning and fighting with a police force who have just dealt with the murders. Scum.
It really did not need to be like this. Abhorrent behaviour, Australia may have a lot of visa applications in-flight.
This is a symptom of what the political class have done to the country post 1997. Elections subsequently have been fought over migration and changing demographics, but the heading remained the same, but just at greater pace.
Complete and utter political failure.
Violence is never the answer, those caught attacking police officers should be made an example of. The levels of violence seen in the past 2 weeks needs to be stamped out.
Much like David Amass, the root cause will not be examined, in that case “online abuse” was the aforementioned culprit not radical Islamism. In this case, the far right are the root cause under the catch all term “EDL” that no longer exists, and not that the political classes continued to ignore the concerns of the people outside the M25 and how they were interfacing with radical demographic change in their villages/towns/cities. This is an inconvenient truth that will not be discussed in depth.
I’m not sure I want to be on this ride anymore. New Labour and the recently departed Tory government have a lot to answer for.
They had no mandate for what they did to the demographics of this country, creating a tinderbox and fertile ground for the extremes in politics to rise to the surface; Islamism/Nationalism/Sectarianism.
This past week has been truly dark for the U.K.
Good. No room for racially aggravated violence.
Inb4 “it’s not racially aggravated”: They attacked a mosque yesterday despite there being no connection between the incident and Islam whatsoever. It’s far right scum looking for an excuse to be violent, throw the book at them.
Now to work out what to do with all the JAQing off which is going to inevitably erupt in this comment section.
Good. Keep ’em coming.
If you’re going to riot just so you can make the deaths of children all about you and your racism then you deserve to have the book thrown at you.
The fact that one of the mothers felt she had to speak up about this because it had had such an impact was depressing.
I don’t support these riots at all but it’s hard to argue against the notion of having two tier policing when native protesters receive such large numbers of arrests immediately and riots such as the one in Leeds receive much less. Maybe there’s a good reason for it, but it keeps happening time and time again.
I’m sure I’ll be downvoted into oblivion for this.
