1. I didn’t know this was a ‘conservative’ issue. I think most of us should jettison accepting the feasibility of ‘carbon capture’ unless it involves using old traditional ‘dirt’ to store carbon through our agricultural practices. AFAIK.

2. Burning oil and recapturing the carbon is stupidly inefficient. If we added the price of carbon capture at the pump, gas would cost about $10 a gallon.

3. thanks for posting. pretty interesting. at this point center-left parties have in large part taken up a lot of the conservative climate solutions from the oughts. they are (publicly at least) just the denier party now
