Looks like Ukrainian defence minister Umerov and Mustafa Cemilev joined the ceremony.
“First Lady Olena Zelenska, Minister of Defense Rustem Umierov, Navy Commander Oleksii Neizhpapa, CEO of Baykar Haluk Bayraktar, and Hero of Ukraine Mustafa Dzhemilev attended the ceremony.”.
Seriously though, at this rate Ukraine’s navy will soon be larger than the Black Sea Fleet.
And that’s only with a couple of corvettes…
Can anyone with strategic understanding break down the reasoning for launching these now?
Can they be reasonably protected well enough to be useful? Given how well Ukraine has been terrorizing these kinds of platforms operated by the Russians in the Black Sea, it seems likely that this kind of a vessel would be quickly targeted by Russian subs or strategic bombers. What can be effectively accomplished at this juncture?

This was unexpected. Second and for now last ship of the Ukrainian Ada Class ASW corvettes, named Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi was launched today. [Zelenskyy himself had visited the shipyard back in march and posed with the ship](https://new.reddit.com/r/WarshipPorn/comments/1b9w09p/ada_class_corvettes_of_ukraine_future_flagship_of/).
Vyhovskyi was laid down less than 12 months ago, so good speed by STM from laying down to launch. Vyhovskyi’s sistership Hetman Ivan Mazepa [have already started her sea trials](https://new.reddit.com/r/WarshipPorn/comments/1d3blji/first_ukrainian_ada_class_corvette_and_future/).
