Homophobic vandals tear down advert for UK’s first LGBTQ+ comedy club

1. God. I do not understand homophobes. Like, who cares. Live and live. Why do homophobes let them live rent free in their heads

3. Do we know that they are homophobic? There are lots of places that get vandalized for no reason other than place and time.

   … but part of me hopes this will massively increase the profile of the club. I’d never heard of it before this.

11. There’s so much of this about right now. Half the bus stops in my neighbourhood have anti-LGBT graffiti on them

12. Of course it happened in one of the gayest but also most homophobic cities in the country.

    I personally love being a gay man living amongst so many other gays but also so many virulent religious conservatives. Keeps things exciting. Who is going to be next to get on the bus? A man in a skirt OR a…man in a skirt.

13. In the assholes defence, it’s not like they have any straight comedy clubs to go to………wait.

14. Very curious if this is the UKs first Lgbtq+ comedy club? I’d have expected a few more than 1.
