  1. Trump said a lot of crazy shit yesterday, but I think this one was the most surprising to me. And to hear how it was a pre-planned bit in his speech, and to see the audience guffaw…I guess they were correct in assuming this would play well with his base.

  2. >Trump claimed during a rally speech in Harrisburg on Wednesday that a friend of his had presented Helen Comperatore, Corey’s wife, with a check for $1 million and that crowdfunding efforts were now in the millions.
“But you know what?” Trump said to supporters. “Corey’s wife said, ‘I’d rather have my husband.’”
“Isn’t that good?” Trump continued. “I know a lot of wives that would not say that, I’m sorry. They would not say that.”

    Trump’s speaking from personal experience.

  3. Imagine spending your whole life trying to be on good terms with a cult leader only for them to use your death as a punchline.

  4. I think he is genuinely shocked that a wife actually loved her husband, because *<gestures broadly at Trump’s entire love life>*

  5. Stunned? Have these people been asleep for at least the past 10 years?

  6. I bet that dead man would have loved that joke. He was big Trump supporter, so he probably loved crass Trump humor.

  7. Surprised he didn’t call him a “ loser” for getting shot and dying. 😳

  8. They’re all just laughing because they know Melania wouldn’t want him back.

  9. Sure, another man takes his bullet, let’s humiliate the surviving family… especially the wife.

  10. Such a garbage human being. Republicans have brought an historic level of shame on themselves that will never wash off.

  11. But the deceased’s wife wouldn’t take Biden’s phone call because “My husband wouldn’t want me to talk to him” 🙄

  12. There were a lot of women. If they were married to Trump or a man like Trump, would 110% take the money over him. None would be sheading a tear.

  13. He’s an idiot for thinking that all people are 100% transactional like he is.

  14. The people that should care, won’t. They will embrace it.

  15. Seeing as how the deceased was a big Trump fan, I have to imagine he would approve of this joke.

  16. Trump can’t simply relay info – no, he thinks he has to put his own spin on it b/c people want his input so badly. So, even if he begins OK, it all unravels so very quickly simply b/c he won’t STFU and keeps rambling.

  17. He was talking about Melania. And Marla. And Ivana. This guy has been married to a lot of women so he knows what he’s talking about.

  18. Trouble is Sociopaths like Don-Old don’t understand heartless. As they (he) are the only person that matters. Hence his vile attitude to others.

  19. I don’t know how anyone is surprised by any of the crap this sorry excuse for a human says anymore. He’s rude, he’s selfish, he’s toned like a badly burnt orange crayon, he’s racist, he’s sexist and he definitely doesn’t give a single damn about you as an individual or ANY of his supporters. You could save his life with your bare hands and he’d be thinking of how to best make money off of the situation and then just as soon as be rid of you. He doesn’t deserve to be in the spotlight and he doesn’t deserve the recognition we give him.

  20. Critics are stunned that a man well known to be a sociopath says something ‘heartless’?

Do they not understand what the word ‘sociopath’ means? It means that he has no empathy for other human beings.

  21. Ghost of man killed at TFG rally:
“How wonderful, I’m the punchline of his joke. He acknowledged me. I’m somebody!”

  22. At this point you have to be a major fucking idiot, a true simpleton, to support Trump. I’m so embarrassed that so many people think he’s worth respecting, let alone worshipping like they do.

  23. Ehhhh…here’s the thing – the guy that got shot would have been laughing right along with Trump. His wife probably thought the joke was charming. These people are weird.

  24. I don’t understand how people are still surprised that this man is a callous asshole

  25. I would be stunned if he didn’t say something like that to be honest.

  26. Kind of a misleading headline. I dislike Trump and think he’d be a dangerous president, but the joke isn’t nearly as disrespectful as the headline implies it is.

  27. I think we should stop covering each crazy asshole thing this guy does with headlines about how “outraged” people are. Just ignore him day to day and do a supercut at the end of each month to remind everyone he’s still fucking looney tunes.

  28. No one is stunned. He’s normalizing hate. Yall better vote. Even with a landslide, he’s still got partisans in position to cause chaos. And that is exactly what MAGA will try to do

  29. Just because he knows his wife is just waiting for him to die. Praying.

  30. I would call him scum but that’s an insult to scum.

  31. Does Trump have any redeeming qualities? I mean, any? Can you think of any? He doesn’t even like dogs.

  32. Trump has had a half dozen “this would end a campaign in any other year” moments this week

  33. Idk, maybe this is overly optimistic, but I feel like the “Teflon Don” immunity is finally wearing thin lately. With Harris as the contrast it feels like Trump’s schtick has more and more people saying, “ugh, enough already.”

  34. Sorry, this is right down the middle for him.

And that’s the real problem. The media have allowed him to normalize such abhorrent behavior and nearly half the country have embraced that behavior.

Worse yet, they’ve embraced him as a heroic figure who has somehow been anointed by God to ‘Save America’ … by destroying the institutions and traditions which keep us safe from charismatic psychopaths.

If he wins the French will demand we return the Statue of Liberty. And he will happily send it back, C.O.D

  35. “He doesn’t care about you” PAC needs to exist.

Sure he talked about someone who died 50ft from him, because of him, less than 3 weeks ago, and made jokes, haha. Since it wasn’t him there isn’t any pesky “mourning period” to ruin his good time worship parties.

Has he actually tried to call the widow or the family and see if they are okay? Has he actually talked to the person who misses their loved one that was taken away because of him, or has he just been told things 4th hand?

He is so weird, why is he so obsessed with money? He is so weird, does he not know how to express empathy and sympathy for someone who is sad, or does he just not understand the emotion of caring about someone else more than yourself?

  36. Why couldn’t the bullet take off a piece of his nose 👃
