  1. Let me throw a wild bias guess just based of the title:

Energy minister called for higher taxation and less reliance on Russia.

Opposition party member supports cheap Russian oil

  2. **You’re a Russian, fool!** this was the complete sentence. The minister said that because the other guy is the president of AUR – a (allegedly) far-right party which may or not be inspired by Kremlin- they surely are praised by Russian outlets like Sputnik.

  3. I don’t understand this insult.
    This is Romania.
    They are *both* thieves.

    /s

Edit: Had to add /s as it appears you people read Sarcasm as well you do Latin.

  4. My history teacher once showed my class a video of two Ukrainian MPs fist fighting in the Parliament building.

  5. A bit of context is needed because the title makes it seem that calling people Russian is considered an insult by itself. The guy on the right is the leader of a far-right, homophobic, anti-vaxx, and antisemitic party that is accused of being supported by Russia to destabilize the country. The party he rules supports a guy for prime minister that has openly praised Russia. Furthermore, an ex-party member who is also an anti-vaxxer is constantly cited by Russia’s Sputnik.

So yeah, that is the kind of ‘Russian’ the guy on the left was accusing the one on the right of being.
