  8. donold has been a known quantity to New Yorkers since the 80s, when he became a tabloid regular. It’s his home town. After knowing who he is for so long, almost 80% of his home town voted against him in 2016 and 2020, unheard of for a presidential candidate.

  30. But…Indians was what they were called in the 90s and was an incorrect title given to Natives, not a disparaging one (not inherently, at least). That was just the norm back then. Doesn’t mean it was right but it’s no different than how we understand common vernacular used to describe any race 70+ years ago wasn’t exactly the most sensitive language ever used even if it was the norm at the time.

    If you want to hear Trump use racist language to describe Native Americans then look no further than how he describes Elizabeth Warren. For fuck sake he said he didn’t consider immigrants to be human. But we need to dig up him using regular, though dated, racial terms at a time where they were normally used?
