1. This is going to be a bad recession. To the degree you can… prepare.

2. I feel like people are more vulnerable at this point in the U.S. than they were at the start of the great financial crisis. Less socially connected. Back then there was a stronger middle class. Now people live more hand-to-mouth. A severe recession will immediately send tens of thousands of people straight onto the streets.
