  1. And our Turkish friends in Belgium will say that it is all anti-erdogan propaganda, because the 500 million Turks around the world support him

  2. It is fascinating that this Cycle of Erdogan switching between listening to central Bankers and his ideological inklings is still going on.
One would really think that at some point the correlation of these things would be clear to even the most ideological of ideologues.

    Apparently not though.

  3. Erdogan actually seems to think that inflation is caused by higher interest rates. So he keeps ordering to lower them as inflation runs rampant in Turkey.

  4. Last year I visited Istanbul, I’m from Italy, the exchange from Eur to Turkish lira was 1 to 9,5 (now its 11,5) and it was already a great bargain.

We managed to spend 7 days like kings, eating at ritz for 25€ and fancy restaurants everyday.

Shopping was great too and the city is gorgeous.
I remember fantasizing about working remotely there with an Italian salary.

I’m really sorry for Turkish people, they are warm persons.

  5. When erdo and akp does shit and gets unpopular, their owners come running to save the day. Great job you guys. The Osman was a former supporter of islamist and was part of the brain trust behind the slogan “Yetmez ama Evet” back in 2010. Also was part of the ex-communist now calling themselves liberals who supported the trial against military. The trial was a kangaroo court and everyone was innocent.

Erdo wasn’t this aggressive during the Brunson crisis and Trump. Although the economy was in zombie mode since 2013.

The most fucked up is that akp, islamist, sects, libs, fetö pretty much destroyed justice in Turkey. Incarcerated people in jail haven’t been put to trial yet. So this jerk is saving cards to play for the next election.

And again voters only see fake soft power and nothing more.
