  1. She is not a man. She is a woman with polycystic ovary syndrome which causes high levels of testosterone

  2. She is a biological Woman. People only asume she is trans because she “looks male”

  3. Read somewhere that they fought in 2022 and the italian lady won.

  4. Sports as a bridge and reconciliation between people is nothing but a lie

  5. Angela, maybe if you didn’t drop your left arm, the other lady boxer wouldn’t punch the fuck out of you…as a boxer lowering your guard earns you a slap from the trainer

  6. This trans spotting really needs to stop. People are now at the point that if women don’t look like the stereotypical petite feminine women, she must be a man. Women come in all shapes and sizes.

Also, even though people don’t like to hear it, studies show that trans women who are post transition for 2 years don’t have an advantage at all.

  7. It’s not like Luigi to cry, so upsetting to see.

  8. I honestly don’t get why the controversy… “Yeah, she’s not a trans, she’s intersex, so she didn’t develop his masculine testosterone levels and blah blah blah”. When you don’t fix to the standard woman and have a different condition, be it being trans, being intersex or whatever… Just participate in the men category, simple as…

Edit: I don’t think my post was understood as I intended it to be. I meant if she/he got xy chromosomes and there’s doubts if it’s affecting her not to compete… Just don’t do it in women category. It’s better to be unfair for a tiny little % of athletes than to be unfair to the rest of them.

  9. Never heard this story, as I live outside of this world (most of the time it’s a good thing)

    What is actually going on?

Is it a male to female trans?

    A female to male trans?

    None of the above?

Is she the one in the picture or is she the defeated opponent?

    What the fuck?

  10. Ah, reddit its losing its mind over the trans thing again

I remain of the view that the Olympics should be open to all, including roided up Russian cyborgs 👍

  11. am i getting this wrong here, or is this kinda like saying those 7 foot freaks in the nba shouldnt be allowed to compete cos they were born with abnormal growth hormones, giving them a huge unfair advantage against those nba players under 6 foot 6?

  12. Who thought that I would find some of the most balanced and normal discussions about this in 2WE4U?! Good job Western Europeans! Beats blowing shit up.

  13. Literally none of the 2 athletes complained in such a way, Carini didn’t complain. Yet politics get in and she comes out as the one in the wrong when really this is just a normal match and people doing this kind of posts and responses are just mean/ignorant/angry.

  14. Imagine calling yourself an Olympic level boxer then quitting the second you get punched in the face

  15. Embarrassing. This whole situation is just unreal. Fucking Meloni and those “journalists”

  16. Would you ever see a boxer man crying was hit too hard ? Just saying

  17. are people arguing about trans people in sports again?

  18. If we’re going to ban athletes from competing against their peers of the same sex, just because they have superior natural abilities, then we might just cancel sports altogether.

Although I have some reservations about trans-issues, it’s really pathetic how this topic completely dominates the public space and how reactive people are about it.
Even today, I had an uncle of mine complaining about this, yet he knew nothing about the convicted child rapist who is participating at the Olympics.

The problem is that the political pundits who have been spreading false information online won’t apologize or correct themselves.

  19. This is being absolutely thrown down my neck everywhere I go, so fuck it, I’m chiming in.

She’s a woman and a boxer. Allegedly she has high testosterone levels, so everyone is saying she isn’t a very good woman, and I’m saying she certainly isn’t a great boxer. Her record is 51 fights, 38 wins, 6 by knockout, and 9 losses. And all those 9 losses were to other women, so..

Mike Tyson won his first 19 fights in a row by knock out, nobody questioned if he was an actual man made of iron, or a grizzly bear or some shit.

They should maybe have a look at Katie Ledecky though. Top 20 times ever in her sport, that doesn’t feel right.

  20. Watch the fight. She took one punch by a better boxer and quit. Its not the first time either. Shes just simply not a good boxer.

  21. You hate her because she may be trans, I despise anything south of Cornwall. We’re not the same
