2. I’m skeptical but hopeful for white hydrogen. 

   Could be a good tool, but the industry has a credibility gap it needs to close before I become a cheerleader. 

3. Yes. Burning more fossil fuels is likely to take the planet closer to an apocalypse.

4. I have been mostly discounting hydrogen because it’s expensive to produce from water or else it’s produced from gas and that’s far from a green process. I have also read about it being difficult to store and distribute due to its corrosive effects and tendency to leak. But this article changes the picture a lot. With large (very large) hydrogen reserves occurring in the earth then extracting it and using it makes a lot of sense. It may prove to be a huge game changer.
