  1. About one in six Dutch people believe in the population replacement theory. This theory, which the AIVD labels as a right-wing extremist conspiracy theory, states that the elite is deliberately trying to replace the white Western population with non-Western immigrants. This is evident from a survey by Kieskompas and ANP that was completed by almost 15,000 people.

Voters for Forum voor Democratie most often believe this theory. About three-quarters of the people who voted for the far-right party in the parliamentary elections agree with the statement. PVV and BBB voters follow at a distance, with 42 and 25 percent, respectively. Among the supporters of the other coalition parties, NSC and VVD, the share is lower, with both around 9 percent. Hardly any D66, GroenLinks-PvdA, and PvdD voters believe in the theory.

  2. What was the exact question asked?

I was recently polled and one of the questions was something like (only listened it once, so slightly paraphrasing):

    * Is there an immigration policy being pursued by political elites that will substantially affect the demographics of your country by replacing natives with non-Western immigrants?

I answered don’t know because the question was so unclear to me but this doesn’t need to be a conspiracy theory of any sorts – the practical consequence of some immigration policies being promoted will indeed be a substantial change on the racial/cultural demographics of western countries and eventually native Europeans will be minorities in Europe. There’s really no way around this, it’s just maths.

It was an yougov poll though.

  3. Same percentage as the virus waarheid Wappies, apparently 15% of our population is dumb as rocks🤷🏼‍♂️

  4. it’s a theory unless you agree with the principle

  5. The only Thing that wants to replace the Dutch is the sea, just saying

  6. Is the theory really completly wrong?
What happens if Dutch people don’t have any more children or very, very few and let’s say a million refugee families in the country have six children each, who also have six children each. So in the long term, if it continues like this, I definitely understand the idea, even if I hate right-wingers

  7. Edit: One in six people *who answer pollsters* believe in right-wing replacement theory.

  8. Not sure about replacement theory, but I had to touch on this topic slightly in my works and according to statistics around 35% of Amsterdam, 30% of Utrecht, 50% of Rotterdam, and around 40% of Hague population aren’t Dutch or even Western, so I get where these thoughts might come from.

  9. I like how usually both side believe in replacement theory at the same time. They think whites turning blacks white and whites think blacks turning them into blacks. Both have memes they share on Facebook that show grandkids turning into different colour.

  10. Are we being replaced by immigrants? Yes

Is it because of the deep state/jews/illuminati? No

  11. These are popping up recently and I have serious doubts about how accurate they are.

  12. As an irish person, the vast amount of immigrants that come in to ireland historical tend to assimilate. Going back since my parents generation in the 70s much like England. So i dont really get the article
