    For multiple years we have heard that russian people cannot protest, because it’s dangerous in Russia. Until we had protests about electricity with thousands of russians a few weeks ago. I feel like after they will disable fancy Android and iOS phones – russians might find their voice and will go to protest, they seem to be ok to protest for their comfort, maybe they will learn how to protest for their brothers and sisters erasing Ukraine and killing Ukrainians.

  10. Russia is rly taking their ties to north korea seriously by taking things from their book and turning themselves into north korea. By all means ban all of those and next off steam and other gaming platforms im sure the Russian youth will love to hear that all their games are gone and instead of playing “western CIA gay propaganda” games they should focus on being cannon fodder for the dictator.

  12. FYI, Apple pays fines to Russian courts and block apps at their request. If Russia asked them to send a push notification “Kill Ukrainians, earn 400K rubles” they would do without a blink. So yeah, I doubt this block. Or maybe it will be like Instagram — blocked officially, yet everyone use it.

  13. 2026: I leave comments on Reddit via pigeons, annoyed at some of the people on this website which are for some reason happy about Russia larping 1984 and restricting freedoms of its citizens
