Ukraine’s “Baba Yaga” Drones Now Appear Capable Of Launching Guided Munitions. Making Ukraine’s large multi-rotor industrial drones capable of launching guided munitions at targets behind enemy lines would certainly be a major capability upgrade.

  1. No more having to go in supper low and risk being hit, giving away your attack with noise or guessing on the impact of the wind on your projectile. If this is working I see the rear areas getting even more dangerous for those supply trucks and depots.

  4. I still suspect it might be guideable munitions for some other system getting dropped unguided because they’re available and not useful in their original form. But if it is real, I wonder when we’ll see cheap, reusable fixed-wing drones that catapult launch with a full payload, do a semi-autonomous bombing run on a target, then fly back for a battery swap and rearm.
