Every time I see a reel or post on Instagram of Simone and her husband, almost all the comments are about how her husband is untrustworthy, fame seeking, not into her, etc.
I thought I was out of the loop and there must be some shady past about him, (especially because they seem like such a loving couple), but the more I see comments about it on Reddit, the more I realize it’s a completely fake and made up narrative by haters. It blows my mind.

It has been taboo for anyone other than the awarded athlete to wear an olympic medal. Not saying it’s a great unwritten rule, but it’s one that’s been followed (mostly) for over a century of competition.
I’ve seen quite a few athletes share their joy this Olympics by draping their medals around their parents’ necks, and I think it’s totally appropriate!Each athlete relies on a support network to get where they are.
