It yields so little! I had 6L of whey and got like 300g of cheese… but it was delicious, albeit a bit gritty… after hours on the stove, once the whey started to caramelize it goes too quick, I think I overcooked it a bit.

That looks dope, where do you live where you can’t find brunost?
Brunost-lover, level 2.0.
Impressive 👏
Ok, you’re qualified. Now come live here.
You can look foreward for your norwegian passport arriving in the mail at any moment now!
Did you just cook it and nothing else?
We can send you! Have you tasted the christmas brunost? If you don’t I can send it to you in November-December. It is so good, taste like christmas🥹❤️
Mine got gritty too, but I read that you have to keep stirring it until it is room temp.
I need this enthusiasm in my life
is there a place in Poland where I can find this??
Send a picture of this to UD and you’ll have your passport next week.
Wow, that is impressive. How was it?
bajs 🤤
Oh wow 🤩 That is impresisive
Congrats now you tasted a brun ost more autentich than most norwegians hawe tasted.
You can expect your Norwegian citizenship to be granted to you by the King himself soon!
Du er nå offisielt norsk
You made it yourself… dude nobody makes their own brunost 😂
You’re better than all of us combined.
Bravo 👏

Udi: please contact us for your passport
I was supposed to warm milk but ended up with brunost instead
Shut up and take my citizenship!
It’s a lot of work but worth it. After visiting Norway a couple of years ago, I cheated and bought an automatic pot stirrer to make it at home!
