What the fuck. Raping anyone is awful but to do it when you are locked in a small tube surrounded by people and where you have to give all your personal information to be there might be the dumbest thing I have ever heard.
What a strange story. Other passengers were asleep and not a single one woke up.

The other passengers might have been asleep (seems unlikely that EVERYONE would have been asleep) but the flight attendants would still have been moving around the cabin. A hue and cry and getting duct taped to a seat by an angry mob seems like the most likely outcome of an attempted rape.
This seems unlikely, on the face of it. Not impossible, but… I want more than an allegation to convict.
