These ratings are ratings of gold medals. Rating by total number of medals is not perfect either.
Is there a rating which would assign some coefficient to medal value, but then would take all medals into account? Like weight of gold is 0.5, silver 0.3, bronze 0.2 ?

The insane thing is that Austria (9 million people) is almost as good as China, a country of over 1.4 billion people.
