Alright, I’ll finally ask. What is happening? What are these protests all about? Who is protesting who? And don’t just say Nazis vs. Freedom. That is not helpful. Only a Sith deals with absolutes. I want to know what the issue is that is being protested about and what solutions each side proposes.

I was at the anti-racist counterdemonstration on the other side of the road, the racists were chanting in a group, “f*nian bastards” at us. During their protest, they threw eggs, plastic drink bottles, and fireworks. Yeah, so much for Catholics and Protestants united together in their racism. Even though there were tricolours being waved by the racist demonstrators, they were among the minority. The vast majority of the flags were Union flags, and the makeup of their crowd was overwhelmingly loyalist and sectarian.
Not what’s being reported on the news. This is a class war, middle class ‘do gooders who know better than everyone else’s against the working class ‘uneducated simpletons’. Perhaps listening to both sides equally and fairly without name calling and death threats might be a good place to start repairing this horrible situation
The smallest numbers make the loudest noise, it’s true in online “outrage” and real life as well, numbers may be smaller but the damage it can do is so much more and any platform (which they are getting in droves all over the UK) will bring more people like them confident to join them in future
All i can see is a serious number of people on both sides of the road with very little to be at.
