Reddit and Twitter users face age checks under UK porn law plans

  1. I see that at some point the US/UK roles reversed and now it’s the puritanical UK set on shielding its children from exposure to pornography.

  2. Doesn’t YT already do this? They basically need a photo id for your account for over 18 content.

In China this has been also been in a lot of apps since a long time.

Also in South Korea they link your social security number with your internet presence.

Porn on Reddit needing an id check seems really stupid though. Did UK become prude or why they cracking down on this?

  3. Yeah right. Lastly, he asked me for an age identification for a documentary about classical art and his influence on the Renaissance and other styles. In the meantime, without such a thing again on YouTube, I can watch the hair removal of the intimate parts, for some and that’s enough. And not only is porn dangerous, there are so many things on the Internet that can “hurt” a child or make him a bad citizen.
