>Joshua war über viele Jahre ein wichtiger Spieler für den FC Bayern und soll es auch in Zukunft sein.
That phrasing sounds slightly more optimistic and comitted than I would have expected. More committed at least than a “wir hoffen dass es in Zukunft auch so sein wird”, “wir sehen keinen Grund warum es in Zukunft nicht so sein sollte”, or even a “mal sehen wie es weitergeht, wir sind immer offen für weitere Gespräche”. Which are all statements I would have rather expected. It is easy to read too much into small nuances like that, but I did notice it, and it feels just a little different from what past reports made me expect.
So apparently we are loaning Zaragoza out to a Spanish club with an option to buy . I mean what was even the point of buying him then ?
Wissam Ben Yedder is free agent currently. Should we sign him as a third choice striker and a chupo moting replacement ?

Kim playing the long ball and Vincent instantly touching his head in disbelief
I got my fucking club back
I know yesterday was a friendly but the way we played in the first half with most of our senior players was fun to watch. With the ball we were direct with lots of one-touch passing. We created chances in lots of different ways which we couldn’t do under Tuchel. Without the ball our press was suffocating them.
Pavlovic was immense, Stanisic was impressive defending and in the buildup, Boey will be a rock at RB. I can’t wait for the Pokal to get here in a few weeks.
I said it before, and I’ll say it again: Letting Kimmich go would be a huge mistake in my eyes. He doesn’t work as a 6, but higher up the field, he’s an absolute menace. Regardless of whether he’s coming from the middle or the right. With Palhinha behind him, I believe he will be able to contribute to our attack even more, be it with key passes or with his crosses.
I hope we will extend him.
I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a sudden Kimmich extension really soon after these statements. And I’d love it for two reasons: 1. We get to keep Kimmich and 2. Once again all the journalists had no clue what was going on behind the scenes.
> 🔴💬 Max Eberl on FC Bayern’s transfer strategy and the dependence on player sales for potential signings: ⤵️
> “The great achievement by FC Bayern in recent decades is that we are able to buy players first and, of course, eventually also have to sell to somehow maintain balance. But these conditions are excellent, and not many clubs in the world have them. Even the biggest clubs in the world no longer have this.”

that doesn’t inherently sound like sales are mandatory before be get any more players in
I really hope we manage to extend Musiala before the start of the season. We should really avoid a situation where we have a shaky start to the season for whatever reason and he and his agent get back to the phase where they want to wait until the end of the season and see how everything develops. We often end up in that situation. Next summer he only has 1 year left on his contract and from then on everything would be far too risky.

Eberl making some hints at Xavi, sounds like Xavi really actually wanted to join but the contractual situation was so complex that it doesnt work out the way it is feasible for us
