  4. Bibi is toast the day the war ends, Oct 7 happened on his watch and he will have to face the consequences at some point, but he wants to postpone that day for as long as possible.

    Hamas had so many chances. The hostages are most likely dead. Most of Hamas’s leadership is now dead. What we should do is help Israel end Hamas as fast as possible so we can get on with actually trying to fix and rebuild things without a terrorist organization in charge.

  9. The main issue Biden has with Netanyahu is that the two men have differing sums for the war. Netanyahu wants to destroy Hamas’ ability to make war on Israel, and Biden wants a cease fire to help his vice president win an election.

  12. The US needs to decide whether they’re aligned with Israel’s goal of destroying Hamas, or they’re not. Using the hostages to negotiate an end to the war and leaving Gaza in the Hamas-led prewar status quo is not and will never be in Israel’s best interests, hell, not in the Palestinian’s either.
