  1. Lovely location. Recommend going downstairs in the Lighterman for a lovely spot by the canal.

  2. King’s Cross at this time of year is hands down the best area in London.

Cool air down at the canal, nature reserve next door, very kid, dog and family friendly, free cinema screen on the canal, Olympic fan park, independent shops and restaurants everywhere, half it is all free for everyone.

You’ve also got Caledonian Road a 10 minute walk away with £5 pints, greasy spoons and family run restaurants that are probably the cheapest in zone 1.

  3. I work there, and it’s always uplifting to see little kids frolicking in the fountains. You can also walk by the canal and see the geese, ducks and coots doing the same.

  4. How things have changed!

I remember when it was clubs, junkies & sex workers right there.

  5. There’s an app you can download to control the fountains.
