Councils have some of the worst tenant satisfaction scores in the entire housing sector – private and social. Absolutely appalling what this lady had to go through.
Fucking Lambeth. Plus council tax is so expensive compared to other boroughs that provides better service (e.g., Wandsworth). Absolute brain rot of a council. Corrupt and incompetent.
This is the thing with councils and the quality of housing as a whole. How can Lambeth council take a rouge landlord to court when they do this themselves. All that landlord would need to do is cite stuff like this to get out of it.
