Visiting Jotunheimen, we came across this sign several times. Couldn’t figure out what it means. Do you know this?

  1. I think it’s a sign for the pilgrims trail for those who wants to follow that.

  2. It’s an indicator you’re currently driving on a national scenic route.. There’s about 18 of these routes all over the country

  3. Means national tourist road 🙂

  6. It means “national tourist road” . In short it means it’s a road that’s picked for its natural scenery, vistas or architecture along it, or not far from it. THere’s 18 of them in different parts of norway, and all of them are worth a drive at some point.

  7. It’s a sign for a tourist road. We are driving them this week.

  8. Pilegrimsleden. It’s a footpath from Oslo to Nidaros. People used to go on a pilgrimage to the cathedral in Trondheim.
