Almost half of white Americans say they are worse off than a year ago, according to a new survey.
The YouGov/The Economist survey found that 44 percent of American adults think they are in worse financial position, while only 13 percent said they were better off, while 38 percent said they are doing about the same.
>Among white Americans, the percentage who say they are worse off than last year grew to 49 percent. Just 12 percent of white Americans say they are better off, while 36 percent say they’re doing about as well.
>Some 42 percent of Black Americans felt they were doing about as well financially now compared to a year ago, while 27 percent said they were worse off. Twenty-three percent said they were doing better.
Take a good look at the numbers: Only 23% of blacks and 12% of whites think the economy is better this year, than last year.
THAT’S the real message they’re trying to hide, with all this racial gaslighting.
Why would they just single out “white” Americans. ALL Americans are worse of than a year ago, Worse off than 2 years ago and worse off than 3 years ago. Thanks JOE
I’m white and this is not in line with my experience
Well especially today, given the stock market moves.
