  3. There are 70 dead per yesterday’s western reporting. Her leaving office should not be the end of her accountability for the things she’s done.

There was a huge protest crowd headed toward the capital.  Hasina set up paramilitary around the city in anticipation.  It would’ve been bloodbath collision.  I think the military and even people in her own party saw what was coming and realized they had to get rid of her quickly or a civil war would break out.

  9. This is good for the reason that she was responsible for the hundreds of murdered students in the protest!

    This is bad for the reason is, when ultimately her opposition comes to power(if the military indeed follows up on it’s promise), the minorities in Bangladesh (specially Hindus) will be fucked. Because we already are seeing a lot of reports of Hindu women being kidnapped from their homes and instances of rapes as well.

    The student protests also got infiltrated by extremists elements because students don’t nreal open a prison and free the prisoners.

    – Afghanistan – Government toppled and taken over by Taliban
    – Bangladesh – latest in the captioned news link

    Only Nepal and Bhutan seem to be okay.

  19. Some of the comments are dumb, this isn’t the first time the military has taken over and lead an interim government. This isn’t anything at all like Pakistan

    On a side note I saw a funny video of the protesters taking the prime ministers cows away lol

  23. The students should be careful as many other parties will now try to infiltrate for the power. The students should be able to choose who they want as their leader. Do not let Bangladesh be corrupt again pleaseee

    It did the same for the Bangladesh PM.

    India should also be open to receive the British monarch. If the UK request, India and China should be ready to assist in bringing the civil unrest ravaging London by sending a joint East/Indian company to the soil of the English and helps with calming the warring clans.
