  2. I have a good feeling the trend will continue.

    1.). In 2 weeks he went from leading to toss up / trailing

    2.). He is massively losing the funding race

    3.). He received no bump for the RNC, VP pick and assassination attempt

    4.). He lost in 2020 and has done nothing to grow his base

    5.). Biden was falling behind not because Trump was converting people to his side but rather they were deciding not to participate

    6.) Harris mitigates the biggest concern over Biden

    7.) Harris has VP boost, DNC boost yet to be baked in

    8.) Trump acts like a cornered animal when he is behind so expect more bed shitting to come.

    9.). He will be sentenced in September

    10.). Jan 6 was really bad and his fingerprints are all over it

    11.). Oh and he is weird

  3. I think it’s clear that Trump has reached his ceiling. Kamala is winning back Democrats and independents. I can see her numbers being even higher at the end of the month.

  8. For a guy that is all about appearances, TV and branding, Trump seems to have been really caught off guard by how much Americans just wanted a different, younger candidate.

  10. Trump is likely at his ceiling and it is unclear where exactly he is supposed to be getting new voters from. Harris likely still has room to improve.

    But due to our electoral system Trump still has an outsized chance of winning regardless. Comes down to turnout and enthusiasm, I think.

  11. Idk about other states but here in Iowa, laws were changed shortly after Biden won regarding voter registration status. Here in Iowa, if you haven’t renewed your registration or voted in the last 2 years your status is set to inactive and you can’t vote until it’s changed back. Highly advise checking with your states Secretary of State’s office or website to check your voter status. Mine was good cause I got a new driver’s license and updated my voter registration, my wife was inactive and had to renew hers online.

    You *should* be able to fix this at the polls in November, but if you’d rather be safe than sorry, consult with your Secretary of State’s office/website to check your status

  12. This is a good development although from an outside perspective it’s still baffling to me that 43% would (still) be willing to vote for this moron. Yes we also have a huge problem with new fascist parties in Europe as well but this prick is just a walking embarrassment to the country. The fascists in Europe at least trying to hide their voter deception, this blabbermouth isn’t even doing that. What is happening over there?

    For those who follow him blindly, I pray the spell wears off by January as they realize his brand of populism is defeated forever.

    For those of us who need to hasten it’s demise, we must get to work. Even with Trump gone, we have to deal with the Supreme Court and all the attempts to divide the nation at the state level.

  21. The truth is that Trump was always a weak candidate. He’s got his loyal base, but above that 30% it’s just people who hold their nose and vote for him as the lesser of two evils.

    A stronger democratic candidate should always have been able to beat him. Harris would not be my first choice, but you can’t argue with how she’s turned it around.

  25. Harris needs to continue to focus on being a contrast to Trump (I.e. young, sane, not a criminal, etc.) while focusing on issues that poll well for Dems (Roe, protecting the ACA). Don’t get baited into GOP talking points like the border and taking guns away and it should be smooth sailing to November.

  29. I live in a red county in NC. I finally got polled today, and it was obviously a Trump poll because it used a lot of negative language towards Harris. I was happy to let them know there was nothing Trump could say that would convince me to not vote for her.

    I hope these polls leave him seething.

  30. The billionaire class wants Trump and there is no telling what they are capable of or what they are willing to do in the next couple months! VOTE! Register! Talk to the laziest person you know about voting! Get out and vote!

  31. Not trying to be a downer, but I feel like all these polling articles and numbers are just breeding complacency in the base. Make sure you go out and vote.
