    I’m not sure what he was doing walking on the motorway, plenty of walking paths near there

    I suppose that’s why they are appealing for witnesses

  2. I was driving to Glasgow airport at stupid o’clock the other week and passed a bam on a skateboard on the hard shoulder of the M8 trying to hitch a lift. After a couple of mins of “did I really see that?!” I decided to call 999 and report it.

    I wondered afterwards if I overreacted. But then reading this sad story makes me think I did the right thing.

    It’s so incredibly dangerous to be on foot at the side of the motorway. I’m sure someone must have seen him or have dashcam footage.
