   Did he expect a page, an announcer and a small military orchestra to tell about the attack?

2. I’m guessing it was an infrared lock with no warning whether MANPAD or Aim9X. Guessing MANPAD most likely.

3. I’m rather surprised that the pilot could function that well immediately after being ejected. The process of ejection starts with a huge and sudden loading on the spine, often compressing discs in the back. I have a ff who ejected and says it took 2″ off his height.
