Our real wages are the same as they were in the late 90’s, the rich make more, the poor make more, the middle make the same but get taxed more, it’s an interesting system.
Ridiculous that the UK has a different rate for 18 year olds.
You’re an adult but the government says £6.56 is your minimum wage.
Once you’re an adult the minimum wage should be the same regardless of how much of an adult you are.

The wiki page on minimum wages suggests this would make it the 4th highest in the world, behind Australia, Luxembourg and New Zealand.
