I’m disappointed that they didn’t divide northern Ireland (to avoid sectarian issues you would need to ensure that unionists and republicans are both divided in the same proportions between the regions)
Amazingly, Wales is pretty much still the same divisions as the Medieval kingdoms (Gwynedd, Powys, Deheubarth/Dyfed and Glamorgan/Gwent) and even the Iron Age tribal lands (Ordovices, Deceangli, Demetae and Silures)
