If Harris and her VP can do more events than Trump not only do they build support and turnout but they also amplify the reality that Trump is simply not up for this job, that he is a has-been and that he’s stale and uninspiring.

  23. This is exactly why it would have been silly for Biden to resign the office. If he’d done that, Harris would have to be president while campaigning. Since the VP doesn’t have as many responsibilities, she can just campaign full time.

    Oddly, this wouldn’t normally be a huge advantage, as Trump has even fewer responsibilities, as he holds no government role and most of his criminal trials are currently suspended due to the corrupt courts.

    He only has a light schedule because he’s old and tired.

  27. I want the campaign to lean into golf and get a range of messages that associate him playing golf with “old retired man”

    “full time golfer, part time candidate”

    “like many retired people, Donald plays golf most days”

    “he spent 30% of his first term playing golf, now that he is 80 that will be his primary focus”

    and so on.

    The reason is, the campaign should try to make any image of him playing golf make people think.
