The message doesn’t seem to be getting across does it?
Reducing speed limits will be a nice boon to the Exchequer pity there’s no Gards to enforce them without overtime
If they really tried they would have at least that many on the N25 on a standard working day.
Though Ill admit, the numbers doing 80 kph lately might make that difficult.
Only a matter of time before they introduce some sort of tachograph system or make dash cams mandatory
Hope the prick doing at least 150km on the M7 on Sat gets the points and fine in the post 🤗
Should have automated speeding cameras up and down the country, they’d pay for themselves after a few hours in some places.
Drove up the coast yesterday I’m in Clare. Cunt in a bmw with one headlight up my hole all the way back then overtook on a bend. I was doing 80 85 on safer parts. Cunt if a road but a nice drive
That’s only the tip of the iceberg. And none of those would be the worst speeders on the roads.
I spent a lot of time driving along the M7 from Tipp to Dublin over the last 3 weeks and almost every car was speeding including HGV’s, I made a conscious effort to stay within the speed limit but it felt as if I was the only one adhering to the speed limits.
It was annoying on N7, speed limit 100k, speed van slighted and the guy in front of me drops to 60k. Fucking idiot.
Now imagine they prioritised red light breakers too. They’d be rolling in yo yos.
How many accidents?
Since Friday I drove 1300km, didn’t see one speed van or garda car.
I wonder why Ireland doesn’t take a page out of Australia’s playbook and put speed cameras all over the place. Like every other po-dunk town here in Aus has speed cameras in it and as a general rule of thumb speeding is quite rare because of that.
It would practically print another National Maternity Hospital in fines in the first month I reckon if that same system was adopted back home.
Imagine how many were not caught. Month by month I’m becoming more cautious on the roads, driving’s turning to shit and people seem more angry than ever when behind the wheel.
