  1. Exactly what a president should not be doing. What a piece of shit.

  2. Well that one was so obvious, even Donnie couldn’t think of a lie that would say otherwise.

  3. Wow, how transparently corrupt. Unfortunately nothing matters anymore.

  4. Why is he openly admitting that he is corrupt?

    That’s incredibly weird behavior.

  5. Remember the promises Trump made the oil execs for their support?

  6. For sale: 1 ex-president. Used so not in good shape. Lies like a rug. Looking a bit ragged.

  7. All the conservatives who hate immigrants love that this South African moved here and is openly bribing our politicians.

  8. “Russia; if you’re listening…. I can be bought…” Trump, definitely.

  9. I’m old enough to remember times when these actions were a nail on a candidate’s coffin. But hey, USA, you’re doing GREEEAAAATT on being the law and order country and the “democracy beacon”. By US standards, all should be invading to help you.

  10. “Hey Putin… I’ll help you take the Ukraine, and you help me rule these states as a dictator. Quid pro quo.”

    -Trump (probably)

  11. What an absolute piece of shit! No integrity whatsoever.

  12. And the rightwing doesn’t care…..

    Its just another Trump deal.

Hell, Vance is literally a deal between Trump and Peter Thiel.

This has been a constant theme with Trump.

  13. The great thing about this, is that it’s going to piss off a ton of his loyal fans. If just one of them chooses not to vote because of this, I call that a win.

  14. He wants to be indicted again. What DoJ should do is indict Elon Musk for bribing Trump, that would dampen this whole cycle of corruption.

  15. how USA can support such a guy ? i believe only racist and fascist people can follow a guy so mediocre and dangerous

  16. “Please disregard my previous criticism. I’ve just been paid.”

  17. I take it the oil CEOs did not “donate” $1 billion to Trump’s campaign so now he is turning to Musk?

  18. To be fair, politicians have done this shit since the beginning of time, behind closed doors or through pacs and fundraising and etc etc etc. Both sides of politics have taken tons of money and adjusted policy based on those donations. This is nothing new. What is new is how openly he admits to doing it. Weird. You’d think people would be demanding how this should be illegal. Right? Right? Right!?

  19. I’ve been in Norway for a music festival and it’s insane how many Europeans openly ask me why I support trump. I don’t, they just assume all Americans are in love with this guy. I’m so tired of this

  20. I’m sure he won’t apply this mentality to other world leaders like Putin or Egypt’s president

  21. Remember when people said Trump was a great candidate because he was rich and couldn’t be bought?

  22. And maybe I’m wrong and presidents in the past have been bought and paid in the past, but never this blatant!! Never this transparent!!! It’s disgusting!! This is considered the highest job in the land and it’s been reduced to a “sold to the highest bidder” position! Where is the honor?! Where is the prestige?! We had been the laughing stock country for so long and a good chunk of the country is okay with it and thinks we need another term of it! What the absolute hell?!

  23. So he’s admitting to being bought… which suggests he will continue to sell favors in the future… and we’re okay with this? Where’s the oversight? Where’s the responsibility? This is textbook corruption, and a genuine national security threat from dictatorial and authoritarian states.

  24. Let’s be fair, don is very old and quite weird. It’s probably not his fault – he should be enjoying retirement not being wheeled out to work like this. Let the doddery old guy have some peace.

  25. Trump is full of shit. My uncle has one of the new Ford Mustang EVs. They are great. And they are VASTLY cheaper than gas-powered cars. It’s not even a contest. EVs are enormously more affordable to run. With my uncles car, he can go about 250 miles on a full charge and it only costs a few dollars to recharge the whole thing. And if he hooks it up to charge overnight in the garage, then the charging price is practically negligible.

The only limitation present, is charging stations aren’t are widespread as gas stations. So, if you plan to take a long trip, you might need to plan a little extra. And if you are away from home, sometimes you might need to drive a little out of the way to find a charging station. But, it’s not that bad, and it’s growing rapidly. In 5-10 years, it’ll be completely different.

It’s crazy that Trump supporters actually support Trump on Tesla. Tesla is the expensive luxury ev brand. None of those people are ever going to be able to drive a Tesla. Meanwhile companies like GM and Ford that have long been considered the bedrock of American jobs are putting out EVs, and Trump is against that? How can these people be okay with that?

In a word, Trump would be a fucking disaster for the American auto industry. They are as an industry moving towards EVs, and Trump’s entire rhetoric opposes that.

If anything the government should help subsidize development of EVs to improve international competition. Because it is true that China is a strong player in the EV market.

    Go forward, not backward.
