That’s surprising. I thought the prison officers were taking extra special care of them in that prison.
This opinion has always been controversial, but I think that after a trial/conviction inmates should not be prevented from suicide if they choose.
Everybody wins.
Edit: don’t just downvote, please explain the downside to this if you see one.
44% of prisoners using drugs? Must be significant corruption among wardens, much bigger problem than one office having sex with an inmate.
It’s always been a problem at Wandsworth.
In the past, I don’t know if it still is, but Wandsworth used to have higher suicide risk due to the prison being a dispersal prison. Convicts would arrive there directly after sentencing, which definely increases suicide risk. Once prisoners are allocated to a serving prison the suicide risk goes significantly down.
Well if noone else is gonna say it…
Frees up 7 places right?
Suicides? Or “suicides”
I’m putting my conspiracy hat on despite knowing nothing about wandsworth or the dead inmates. It’s more fun this way
