If the Russians convince Iran to start trying to block the straight of Hormuz this conflict will go global. Don’t see Europe or China being happy with disruptions to the strait because they get a lot of oil imports from the area. USA also likely forced to enter the game directly and break Irans navy again.

Like it or not, we’re in a world war. It just hasn’t gone hot yet worldwide. Started when Russia invaded Ukraine the second time. Every action taken by China-Russia and their allies since is part of that war.

This continues even now when US doesn’t allow Ukraine to strike russian territory with US weapons. It will only get worse, in my opinion, and it could have been stopped very easily back in 2008…
